New state of the art MRI Scanner at Werndale

BMI Werndale Hospital is delighted that the installation of its new MRI has been completed successfully!

The Siemens Magnetom Altea 1.5 open bore system is the first of its generation in Wales and only the second installed in the United Kingdom.

The Altea has optimal image quality, shorter scanning times and the atmosphere and noise cancellation solutions aim to put patients at their ease.
